REPRESENTATIVES OF THE EL 6 COMPANY SPOKE AT THE 13TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "CARBON 2021"

Representatives of the El 6 Company spoke at the annual conference "Carbon: Fundamental Problems of Science, Materials Science, Technology" CFPMST 2021.
The event was attended by experts in the field of carbon and carbon materials. They made presentations in the following areas: raw materials for the production of carbon-graphite materials, carbon-carbon composites, electrode components for metal ion batteries, and many others.
Representatives of El 6 made presentations on two topics. The paper entitled "Developing and Optimizing the Technology for Production of Cold-Ramming Mixture for Aluminum Electrolyzers" described in detail the process of developing a new product for high-amperage aluminum electrolyzers.
The paper "Research of Temperature Fields in Industrial Direct Graphitization Furnaces Using Numerical Modeling Methods and Direct Measurements" revealed the subject of studying and improving the graphitization process using modern technology. Currently, El 6 also uses numerical modeling methods to solve various production problems, including that of improving threaded connections of graphitized electrodes.
The Company conducts research and development on an ongoing basis to improve the production methods used and to bring promising products to the market, and for this purpose, it is looking for interested partners for cooperation in the field of science and technology. A major industry research center is being created at the production site of El 6 in Novosibirsk. Specialists are being recruited for the development of a new industry laboratory and implementation of scientific and practical developments in the carbon and graphite industry.
